On Sunday I studied A
Discourse Approach in Reading. I learned the new content, it is Narrative. I
learned about the meaning of Narratives, it tells a story about a series of
event or actions. The story can be fiction or it can be nonfiction. It may also
seek or teach or inform, to embody the writer’s reflections on experience.
Before we started to
learn the teacher gave activity for us, it about similarities or differences in
our childhood memories, it’s so good I really like it.Then the teacher gave new
worksheet for us, it is the narrative. The name of story is Secret by Tim Winton.
It’s really interesting but it’s quite difficult because I didn't understand
some words in this story. So, I had to use dictionary to find meaning of the
words. I think I have to improve myself to know the meaning of the vocabularies
more than this.
